It is intended for use on the lower face & body, with ideal areas being arms, legs, stomach, back, and shoulders. It is not intended for facial hair in areas with dense hair growth (e.G., men’s beard or neck) as this may cause skin irritation or injury. Avoid areas around the eyes and always wear the included protective eyewear.

    This device is suitable for individuals with skin tones classified within the fitzpatrick skin type I to v range. Always consult the user manual for detailed guidance on safety, usage, and suitability. Not suitable for grey hair.

    IPL targets melanin, the pigment in hair, absorbing light energy and converting it to heat to disable the hair follicle. Grey, white, or very light blonde hair lacks sufficient melanin, so there's little to no pigment for the light to target. Without this contrast, IPL is ineffective, regardless of the number of sessions.

    Best Candidates:     People with darker hair (brown or black) and lighter skin, where the high contrast allows IPL to effectively target the hair.

    Limitations:     Red or light blonde hair may also respond poorly due to low melanin content.

    Alternative Options: For grey or white hair, electrolysis is often recommended, as it targets the follicle directly with an electric current, not relying on pigment.
